Welcome to the Temujin
Temujin is the birth name of Genghis Khan (1162 - 1227) who ruled the Mongol Empire for 45 years. Temujin's warriors would cook thinly sliced meat, spices and vegetables on their upturned shields inbetween battles. This form of cooking, known as Mongolian stir-fry has become very popular. In the restaurants you can help yourself from a fridge display unit, where customers combine various meats, seafood, tofu or quorn with a variety of vegetables. After choosing the oil, sauce and garnish, you can watch your meal being stir-fried by the chefs in the open kitchen.
Following the success of the Temujin Restaurant at Sowerby Bridge, February 9th 2005 saw the opening of our new restaurant on Tanyard Road, Milnsbridge.
